About the Role

ABM Industries is seeking a skilled Building Engineer to join our team. As a Building Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the designated leadership with daily operations of all building systems, including hard surface maintenance and repair, basic carpentry and metal work, and operating, maintaining, and repairing facility system equipment associated with HVAC operations and mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Respond to customer requests and submit and close work orders as necessary.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, including working on elevated platforms and in confined spaces.
Requirements
  • High school graduate
  • 3+ years' HVAC experience
  • Preferred related technical school certification
  • Needs central plant experience
  • Class A license required
  • Ability to lift and carry over 50lbs
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to keep detailed records of activities performed and complete basic reports
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints and other technical documentation
