- Participate in performance improvement activities, identifying opportunities for process improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Five years of medical assistant experience with highly complex, chronic disease management or in a specialty discipline.
- Current certification as a Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) or equivalent.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, healthcare teams, and other stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information with discretion.
- Certification as a Phlebotomy Technician (CPT).
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMRs) and other healthcare software systems.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy.
