The Radiologic Technologist is a key member of the Imaging Services Department at MemorialCare Health System. This role is responsible for performing technical duties utilizing radiologic imaging equipment and supplies to obtain high-quality imaging for exams and procedures performed on patients of all ages.

Key Responsibilities

  • Utilize electronic systems effectively and appropriately to ensure seamless workflow.
  • Assist with clerical duties to maintain a well-organized and efficient work environment.
  • Perform quality imaging for all diagnostic exams and procedures while providing exceptional patient care and safety.
  • Ensure accurate patient identification and documentation of exam indications and history.
  • Provide patient and family education as needed, adhering to department policies.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to interact with colleagues and patients in a positive and constructive manner.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year acute care hospital experience or equivalent.
  • Current CRT license for the State of California required.
  • Current ARRT certification required.
  • California Fluoroscopy permit required within 3 months of hire date.
  • Current BCLS card required.
