Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist Job Summary Norman Regional Health System, a leading healthcare provider in Oklahoma, seeks an experienced Cardiovascular Imaging Specialist to join our team. This role requires a registered Radiologic Technologist with expertise in cardiovascular procedures and a strong commitment to patient care.
Salary: $27.84-$45.46 per hour based on experience
About Norman Regional Health System:
Norman Regional Health System is a community hospital system nestled at the southern border of the Oklahoma City metro area. Our innovative cardiovascular program includes three Cath Lab suites, one Electrophysiology suite, one Hybrid suite, two treatment rooms, and seventeen Same Day Surgery rooms.
We work closely with a team of nine cardiologists and two electrophysiologists, providing comprehensive cardiovascular care to patients. Our facility has received various awards, including American College of Cardiology Chest Pain Center with PCI and Resuscitation Accreditation, American College of Cardiology NCDR Registry Gold Award, Women's Choice Award in Heart Care, Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC) Echo Accreditation, and American Association Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation (AACVPR) Accreditation.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and manage equipment during cardiovascular procedures.
Maintain a sterile environment and provide patient care.
Collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure excellent patient outcomes.
Serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students, participating in their orientation and training.
Use downtime effectively by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and completing delegated tasks.
Maintain a strong working relationship with physicians and leadership to facilitate exceptional patient care.
Qualifications and Education:
A graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or Cardiovascular Program, with a minimum of one year of experience working in a Cath Lab. Registration as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist - ARRT or RCIS certification is required. Basic Life Support (BLS) training is also necessary.
