As a recognized organ procurement organization (OPO) in California, DCI Donor Services is part of the DCI Donor Services family, which has been at the forefront of efforts to eliminate the transplant waiting list for over 40 years. Our innovative service model facilitates nationwide donation, transplantation, and distribution of organs and tissues while fostering strong connections with local communities.
We operate three distinct organ procurement and tissue recovery organizations: New Mexico Donor Services, Sierra Donor Services, and Tennessee Donor Services. Additionally, we enhance the gift of life through the DCI Donor Services Tissue Bank and the Sierra Donor Services Eye Bank.

Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the Tissue Recovery Procurement Process, including liaising with hospitals and funeral homes, as well as managing packaging and shipping.
- Lead the recovery team in the procurement of donated cadaveric human tissue, such as bone, skin, corneas, blood vessels, nerves, and heart valves.
- Act as a resource and advisor to team members during the recovery process.
- Ensure effective communication with leadership and colleagues.
- Participate in tissue recovery and donor restoration as necessary.
- Maintain compliance with regulatory accreditation standards and internal quality assurance processes.
- Be prepared for travel and on-call responsibilities.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks with attention to detail.
- Maintains a professional and focused demeanor in all business interactions.
- Bachelor's degree preferred; CTBS/EBAA certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the medical field.
- Possesses a valid driver's license and meets MVR underwriting criteria.
Compensation and Benefits
- Competitive compensation package, including up to 176 hours of PTO in the first year.
