Obstetrician-Gynecologist Hospitalist

We are seeking a highly skilled Obstetrician-Gynecologist Hospitalist to join our team at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. The successful candidate will provide exceptional clinical care to patients in the inpatient setting, with a focus on general obstetrics and gynecology. This is a full-time, permanent faculty position with a competitive salary and benefits package.

• Provide clinical care to patients in the inpatient setting, including Labor and Delivery, gynecologic consults, and emergencies.
• Work collaboratively with the Division Director to assign administrative time and other academic endeavors.
• Teach medical students, OB-GYN residents, and fellows in sub-specialty training.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of clinical policies and procedures.

• MD or DO degree and completion of a 4-year ACGME-approved residency in OB-GYN.
• Strong clinical competence and independent practice experience.
• Ability to meet technical standards for a general obstetrician and gynecologist, including night shifts and extended shifts.

• Previous obstetric and gynecologic hospitalist experience or training.
• Experience in an academic medical center.
