Obstetrician-Gynecologist Hospitalist

We are seeking a highly skilled Obstetrician-Gynecologist Hospitalist to join our team at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. The successful candidate will provide exceptional clinical care to patients in the inpatient setting, covering Labor and Delivery, gynecologic consults, and emergencies. This is a full-time, permanent position with a competitive salary and benefits package.

• Provide high-quality clinical care to patients in the inpatient setting, including Labor and Delivery, gynecologic consults, and emergencies.
• Work collaboratively with the Division Director to ensure seamless coverage and efficient patient care.
• Teach medical students, OB-GYN residents, and fellows in sub-specialty training.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of clinical policies and procedures.

• MD or DO degree and completion of a 4-year ACGME-approved residency in OB-GYN.
• Strong clinical competence and independent practice experience.
• Ability to meet technical standards for a general obstetrician and gynecologist, including night shifts and extended shifts (24 hours).

• Previous obstetric and gynecologic hospitalist experience or training.
• Experience in an academic medical center.
