About the Role

The Cashier (Food & Beverage) position is a key part of our team at Oak View Group. As a cashier, you will be responsible for operating a cash register, accepting payment, and preparing and serving concession items to guests. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized work space, including disposal of garbage and cleaning dishes.


Responsibilities
  • Conduct cash register sales by entering orders and completing transactions.
  • Maintain stock and supply levels, and communicate to the Concession Stand Manager of low stock items.
  • Listen and respond to customer requests or concerns.
  • Serve beverages to guests, including alcoholic beverages responsibly, and check guest's ID in accordance with state/federal regulations.
  • Maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards in the work area.

Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Must be 18 or over.
  • Three or more months experience in the food service industry preferred.
  • Previous cash handling experience preferred.
  • Ability to learn to handle cash and operate a cash register and corresponding system.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a friendly, positive attitude with co-workers, managers, volunteers, and guests.
