Job Title: Respiratory Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Stability Direct. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality respiratory care to patients in a variety of settings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer all forms of respiratory care and treatment to patients, including ventilation, oxygen therapy, and aerosolized medications.
  • Monitor patients' oxygen saturation, end tidal CO2, and blood gas analysis, and adjust therapy as needed.
  • Perform routine surveillance and equipment inspection to ensure proper use and functioning of respiratory equipment.
  • Assist with bedside bronchoscopies, pulmonary function screening, and arterial blood gas punctures.
  • Participate in patient care rounds and communicate with nursing and other ancillary staff as necessary.
  • Document patient care and therapy in the electronic medical record.
Requirements:
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) and Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credentials.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
  • 1 year of experience in respiratory care, preferably in a hospital setting.
