Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee production activities and ensure compliance with GMPs, quality standards, and safety protocols.
  • Manage and guide production staff.
  • Implement the daily production agenda.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and address employee conduct as needed.
  • Advise on personnel decisions.
  • Provide insights on production initiatives.
  • Clarify and uphold operational standards.
  • Identify and rectify issues.
  • Engage in daily communication with the Production Manager regarding operational matters.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Completion of all required training within 90 days of starting the role, under the guidance of a trained operator.
  • Mandatory completion of Orientation, GMP, and HACCP training.
  • Orientation must be completed prior to the first day of work.
  • Completion of Employee Awareness training.
  • Adherence to safety equipment requirements: proper attire, safety glasses, hearing protection, and steel-toed footwear.
  • Fulfillment of safety training including Hearing Conservation, Hazard Risk Analysis, Fire Safety, Machine Guarding, Emergency Preparedness, Bloodborne Pathogens, Electrical Safety, Confined Space, Ladder/Knife Safety, and Fall Protection.
  • Must be P.I.T. trained.
  • Initial safety procedures must be completed.
  • Completion of Ergonomics and L.O.T.O./Machine Specific training is required.
