Job Title: Control Systems Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Control Systems Engineer to join our team at M.C. Dean, Inc. in Caroline County, Virginia. As a Control Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, installing, and maintaining equipment used to monitor and control systems, machinery, and processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop control systems for industrial applications
  • Install and maintain control systems, including programming and testing
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery
  • Develop and implement solutions to complex automation problems
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in control systems technology
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field
  • 2-4 years of experience in control systems engineering
  • Proficient in programming languages such as ladder logic and structured text
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex automation issues
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field
  • Experience with PLCs, DDCs, and SCADA systems
  • Certification in one or more PLC/Automation platform, such as Schneider, Rockwell, Siemens, Niagara, etc.
