Job SummaryThis is a challenging and rewarding role that requires expertise in radiation oncology and a strong understanding of technical infrastructure and dependencies. The successful candidate will have experience working with OIS/TPS systems, supporting clinical applications, and implementing, troubleshooting, and training on software upgrades, installations, and maintenance.
Responsibilities- Implement, support, and lead integrated solutions for application and data integration managed by Information Services (IS).
- Provide expert application and technical support to ensure that applications are optimally planned, documented, validated, adhere to standards, and maintained.
- Lead complex triage and troubleshooting assistance to product clients, engage in problem management identification, classification, and resolution activities within the applications.
- Lead large and complex applications efforts and provide support to other team members as a mentor.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 2 years recent relevant experience.
- Expert knowledge of data and application development lifecycle methodologies.
- Working knowledge of healthcare operations and structure.
- Working knowledge of Health Level 7 (HL7) and Extensible Markup Language (XML) messaging standards and structure, as well as Application Program Interfaces (APIs).
- Advanced understanding of downstream applications and core systems integration.
- Radiation Oncology experience.
- Rad Onc mixed vendor environment with a focus on OIS/TPS systems.
- Support of clinical applications.
- General understanding of technical infrastructure and dependencies.
- Knowledge of DICOM & HL7.
- Project Management, design, testing, and technical functions.
- Software upgrades, installations, and maintenance.
- Implementation, troubleshooting, and training.
- Knowledge/experience of Microsoft, Citrix, Remote access.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and quality assurance guidelines relevant to radiation oncology IS systems.
