Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students' speech and language abilities, identifying areas of strength and weakness.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address communication disorders, utilizing evidence-based practices and techniques.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support students' academic and social success, ensuring a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
- Provide direct therapy services to students in both individual and group settings, adapting to meet the unique needs of each student.
- Monitor progress and adjust intervention strategies as needed, utilizing data-driven decision making to inform treatment planning.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Virginia state license or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
