Position Overview
SUMMARY
This role is responsible for overseeing and managing the quality assurance program aimed at ensuring the consistent production of goods that meet established quality standards. Key responsibilities include:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to:
- Conducting product measurements and inspections, making informed decisions regarding product quality.
- Collecting and analyzing Statistical Process Control (SPC) data.
- Implementing the nonconforming product process and managing rework activities.
- Completing necessary documentation for rework processes.
- Executing inventory transactions using SAP software.
- Overseeing the inventory within the hold area.
- Performing additional tasks as required.
Overtime may be necessary based on operational needs.
Qualifications
To excel in this position, candidates must demonstrate the ability to fulfill each essential duty effectively. The following qualifications are essential:
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
Familiarity with Bosch automotive components is preferred.
Proficiency in personal computer applications, including Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, and SPC software.
Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills are essential.
Self-motivation and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively are crucial.
LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical documents and professional literature. Capable of writing reports and procedural manuals. Effective communication skills to present information and respond to inquiries from supervisors and clients.
MATHEMATICAL ABILITY
Competence in applying mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Ability to utilize fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions in practical scenarios.
REASONING SKILLS
Ability to apply common sense to follow instructions provided in various formats. Capability to address problems involving multiple concrete variables in standardized situations.
