Job Title: Mobile Crisis Counselor

At the Office on Mental Health Core Service, we are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Mobile Crisis Counselor to join our team. As a Mobile Crisis Counselor, you will play a critical role in providing crisis interventions to individuals experiencing mental or behavioral distress in their communities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide in-person crisis interventions to clients in their homes or communities, utilizing the least invasive intervention techniques.
  • Answer hotline calls and provide phone counseling services to individuals in crisis.
  • Document all client interactions, including hotline calls and in-person interventions, in our electronic health record system.
  • Collaborate with community providers to plan and coordinate treatment for clients.
  • Refer clients to community resources for housing and treatment to support their recovery from mental illness or substance use.
Requirements:
  • A master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to operate agency vehicles.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and respond to crisis situations.
