Psychiatrist Position at Esteemed Healthcare Facility

Eastern Connecticut Health Network (ECHN) is a remarkable community healthcare organization, featuring two highly regarded acute-care hospitals, Manchester Memorial and Rockville General. We invite Psychiatry Physicians to consider our Adult Outpatient Psychiatry opportunity situated in the vibrant area of Manchester, Connecticut. This role offers a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday, focusing on outpatient clinical services for the adult demographic. Additionally, there are opportunities to mentor residents and medical students, as well as engage in medical education initiatives.
As part of this adult outpatient psychiatrist role, you will participate in a rotating schedule for well-compensated weekday call coverage, with optional weekend call coverage available. You will be integrated into a collaborative and esteemed multidisciplinary team of professionals, including psychiatrists, psychiatric nurse practitioners, nurses, mental health counselors, social workers, and occupational therapists. Requirements:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible Psychiatrist, or soon to be eligible
- Licensed to practice in Connecticut, with Federal DEA and Controlled Substance Registration (CSR) or soon to be eligible
