Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and supervise hourly workforce in the Plating department, ensuring productivity and quality standards are met.
  • Develop and implement production schedules, maintain accurate inventory control, and optimize workflow to improve efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve departmental goals and objectives, including safety, production, quality, and shipping.
  • Provide training and development opportunities to direct reports, focusing on production, material handling, equipment operation, and safety procedures.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with OSHA guidelines and company safety protocols.
  • Oversee the maintenance of chemical process tanks and equipment, ensuring high-quality results and minimizing downtime.
  • Develop and maintain performance metrics and work schedules to drive productivity and efficiency.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • 1-2 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in electroplating or coating processes.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions to drive business outcomes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, and basic math skills.
  • English language proficiency, with bilingual skills in English and Spanish a plus.
Working Conditions

The Production Supervisor, Plating Department, 1st Shift will work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, with frequent exposure to warehouse conditions and moderate noise levels.
