Position Overview

In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and coordinating plans and schedules for both new and existing programs. Your duties will include monitoring costs, operational budgets, schedules, and manpower requirements. You will also support negotiations with customers and analyze project impacts across various departments to identify efficient resource acquisition methods.

As a member of the Submarine Engineering Advanced Capabilities team, you will play a crucial role in the development of the next-generation Fast-Attack Submarine, SSN(X). This position offers a unique opportunity to influence the design of the Navy's premier attack submarine platform.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and track project progress and key program metrics
  • Assist in the formulation of technical and programmatic plans
  • Support the development of process documentation and checklists
  • Engage in quality and training initiatives
  • Address operational needs within the organization

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree with 6 years of relevant experience; or Master's Degree with 4 years of relevant experience
  • Equivalent qualifications may include military experience or relevant vocational training

  • Experience in process and procedure development
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders
  • Experience interfacing with engineering and design teams is a plus
