As a Housekeeper at Nantucket Golf Club Inc., you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and housekeeping maintenance across our properties. This includes the clubhouse, cottages, dormitory, and golf course management areas.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cleaning and maintaining all properties, including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and polishing floors; sweeping and vacuuming rugs and baseboards; shampoos and spot clean carpets
• Dusting and polishing furniture and woodwork; emptying, cleaning, and lining waste receptacles and disposing of trash
• Washing doors, windows, walls, ceilings, venetian blinds, and furniture; changing bed linens; washing windows and caring for window treatments
• Cleaning microwave ovens, stoves, coffee pots, and refrigerators; polishing metalwork; cleaning, disinfecting, and stocking restrooms and humidors
• Stocking cottages with designated amenities and supplies; requisitioning supplies and notifying supervisors of expected shortages in a timely manner

Requirements:

• Prior housekeeping experience is required
• Knowledge of proper cleaning methods and safe usage of cleaning chemicals, materials, disinfectants, janitorial tools, and equipment
• Attention to detail and strong organizational and communication skills
