We are seeking a highly qualified Lecturer in Spanish to join our team at Loyola University Chicago.

Job Summary:

The Department of Modern Languages and Literatures is accepting applications for two three-year, full-time, non-tenure-track positions at the rank of Lecturer.

Responsibilities:

  • Teach four undergraduate courses per semester, ranging from beginning to high intermediate level Spanish language courses.
  • Serve as coordinators for one language-level: SPAN, SPAN, or SPAN

Qualifications:

  • M.A. required; Ph.D. is desirable.
  • Record of excellence in teaching the Spanish language at the levels indicated.
  • Experience in the innovative use of technology in the classroom.
