Key Responsibilities:
• Act as a trusted advisor and business partner within the Operations team, engaging with senior executives and their management teams.
• Oversee all financial aspects of the organization, including expense management, headcount and capital oversight, forecasting, monthly re-commitments, variance analysis, monthly closing, and management reporting.
• Aggregate and analyze key expense trends and metrics to identify potential risks and opportunities while ensuring high accuracy.
• Conduct qualitative analyses to assess current and future operational performance.
• Prepare executive-level presentations to discuss results and forecasts with management and business partners.
• Focus on process improvements and continuous enhancement.
• Support ad hoc projects and business cases as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting with 3-5 years of relevant experience.
• Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships, being recognized as a valued business partner.
• Capacity to work independently and collaboratively across various functions, managing tight deadlines while ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong skills in financial analysis, financial modeling, variance analysis, and both written and verbal communication, along with presentation capabilities.
• Team-oriented with excellent interpersonal skills.
Required Systems and Tools:
• Proficiency in SmartView, Oracle Cloud, Excel, and other Microsoft Suite Applications.
• MBA preferred but not mandatory.
Compensation & Benefits:
Your compensation within the salary range may be influenced by various factors, including relevant education, qualifications, certifications, and experience.
Eligible employees can participate in Western Digital's Short-Term Incentive (STI) Plan, which offers incentive awards based on both company and individual performance.
