Key Responsibilities
  1. Leadership and Supervision: Train and supervise department personnel to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  2. Operational Management: Assist the Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the Facilities Department, including maintenance, repairs, and upgrades of HVAC systems.
  3. Technical Expertise: Maintain current professional and technological developments in the field of HVAC expertise, including knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hot side, and cold side kitchen equipment.
  4. Compliance and Safety: Ensure departmental compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as maintain a safe and healthy work environment for all staff.
  5. Communication and Liaison: Maintain liaison with vendors and service representatives to enforce equipment warranties and repair, and provide assistance to other departments as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or GED and technical school certification; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Experience: Seven years recent professional hospitality or casino management experience in the profession.
  • Skills: Ability to communicate professionally in writing and verbally; organizational, leadership, and managerial skills; ability to make rational and effective management decisions to plan, schedule, and coordinate departmental operations; ability to diagnose and resolve problems; proficient in speaking, reading, and writing English; effective computer skills; excellent interpersonal skills; able to work any and all shifts as needed.
