Job Description:

In accordance with state and federal regulations, assists the pharmacist in the practice of pharmacy, under direct supervision. Performs various tasks to support the Pharmacy Department, including assisting with inventory management, processing prescriptions, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assists pharmacists in the performance of pharmacy duties, including filling prescriptions and processing patient information.
  • Reviews and complies with Walgreen Co. Pharmacy Code of Conduct.
  • Assists with inventory management, including ordering, unpacking, and storing shipments of pharmaceuticals.
  • Provides excellent customer service, including greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving issues.
  • Assists with exterior and interior maintenance of the Pharmacy Department.
Requirements:
  • Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
  • Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
  • Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
  • Prefer good math skills and computer skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prefer PTCB or ExCPT certification.
