Patient Care Coordinator

We are seeking a skilled Patient Care Assistant to join our team at Mayo Clinic. As a Patient Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing direct and indirect patient care, supporting and complementing nursing practice under the supervision of a registered nurse.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist staff with delegated tasks of direct and indirect patient care
- Carry out delegated skills that are within those functions limited by law to unlicensed nursing personnel
- Adapt to unpredictable situations within the patient care setting
Requirements:
- Must be 18 years of age prior to start date
- Completion of 12 college credits -OR- High school diploma/ GED with successful completion of a Nursing Assistant training or equivalent preferred
- Maintains current Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers from one of the following programs; American Heart Association or American Red Cross
