We are seeking a skilled Central Transporter to join our team at Johns Hopkins Medicine. As a Central Transporter, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of patients, medical equipment, and supplies throughout the hospital.
Key Responsibilities- Transport patients and medical equipment safely and efficiently
- Operate patient transport equipment, including stretchers and wheelchairs
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare staff
- Manage the transportation of supplies, medication, and equipment
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1 year experience in a healthcare setting preferred
- Ability to read and follow directions
- Basic computer skills and knowledge of Meditech
As a Central Transporter at Johns Hopkins Medicine, you will enjoy a competitive salary range of $15.61 - $17.99 per hour, commensurate with experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a 403(b) retirement plan.
