The Department of Anesthesiology, Perioperative Medicine and Pain Management at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine is seeking an exceptional candidate to join the faculty as an Assistant Professor of Anesthesiology and Pain Management.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement regional anesthesia and acute pain management programs, including the supervision of residents and fellows.
- Conduct research and publish papers in the field of regional anesthesia and acute pain management.
- Participate in departmental conferences and faculty meetings, and contribute to the academic activities of the department.
- Collaborate with other faculty members to develop and implement educational programs for residents and fellows.
- Completion of a US-approved residency in Anesthesiology or equivalent training and certification.
- Completion of a Fellowship in Regional Anesthesia and Acute Pain Management or substantial experience in the area.
- Board Eligibility or Certification in Anesthesiology is required.
- Research experience is highly desirable.
