Job Summary

SAIC is seeking an Electronics Technician to join our team in Hanahan, SC.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting various types of electronic equipment and related devices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply technical knowledge of electronics principles to determine equipment malfunctions
  • Restore equipment operation using skill and expertise
  • Evaluate performance and reliability of prototype or production mode
  • Recommend changes in circuitry or installation specifications to simplify assembly and maintenance

The Electronics Technician will apply basic technical knowledge to perform simple or routine tasks following detailed Work Instructions and/or Technical Drawing Packages. This includes integrating, assembling, and/or replacing components, wiring circuits, and taking test readings using common instruments.

Requirements
  • High School diploma or GED
  • Formal electronics training from a technical school, Class A or B military school, or four-year electronics apprentice program
  • Two years of practical experience in electronics repair, maintenance, and checkout, or supervision and shop practices
  • Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance
