  • Job Responsibilities:
  • Perform moderate to complex vehicle integration tasks to include cable routing, metal work installations, and technical support for the integration, installation, modification, and upgrade of C5ISR systems.
  • Read and follow integration documentation, written or verbal instructions, schematics, rough sketches, drawings, and diagrams, layouts, and plans often requiring interpretation.
  • Ability to safely complete all physical demands of the job in a manufacturing environment, including lifting, pulling, pushing, and carrying up to 50 pounds, unassisted, on a regular basis. The job also involves walking, bending, stooping, sitting, standing, or squatting for extended periods.
  • Repetitive manipulation and handling of tools needed for installing electrical components, mechanical parts, and metal work into vehicles.
  • Familiarity with the use and operation of power tools is necessary.
  • Move and arrange cable supplies and electronic equipment.
  • Qualifications:
  • Associate's Degree in Engineering Technology, math, or science; or formal electronics training from Technical School, Class A or B military school in electronics or communications, or four-year electronics apprentice program; or High School diploma or GED.
  • Six years with degree/formal training or ten years with a High School diploma or GED of practical experience.
  • Five years of practical experience in C4ISR systems, C4ISR land-based vehicular platforms, or related C4ISR systems/subsystems including installation of such equipment.
  • Three years of experience in design, preparation, and modification of engineering documents and drawings.
  • Four years of experience in C4ISR systems, C4ISR land-based vehicular platforms, or related C4ISR systems/subsystems, of which three must have been performed within the last four years.
  • Must have Microsoft Excel knowledge.
  • Security Clearance:
  • Must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain a DOD Public Trust security clearance. Active clearances accepted.
  • SAIC Policy:
  • SAIC accepts applications on an ongoing basis and there is no deadline.
  • SAIC does not require COVID-19 vaccinations or boosters. Customer site vaccination requirements must be followed when work is performed at a customer site.
