Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomy Specialist to join our team at MTSS. As a Phlebotomy Specialist, you will be responsible for drawing quality blood samples from patients and preparing those specimens for lab testing while following established practices and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Draw blood samples from patients in a safe and accurate manner
  • Prepare specimens for lab testing while following established procedures
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients and colleagues
  • Work independently with minimal on-site supervision
  • Meet productivity and quality standards
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred
  • Phlebotomy certification preferred
  • Three years phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric and capillary collections
  • Minimum 2 years in a Patient Service Center environment preferred
