We're seeking a talented Apprentice Baker to join our Bakery Department at Giant Eagle Inc. As a key member of our team, you'll play a crucial role in creating delicious pastries and baked goods that delight our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in preparing and baking high-quality bakery products, including scratch recipes and donuts.
- Perform bench work according to established procedures, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Provide exceptional customer service, answering questions and making suggestions to customers.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Assist in maintaining bakery backroom, cooler, and freezer efficiency, unloading deliveries and performing other tasks as needed.
- 0-6 months of experience in a bakery or related industry.
- No high school diploma required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Age 18 or older.
