Key Responsibilities- Assessment and Planning: Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify their infusion needs and develop individualized care plans.
- Infusion Administration: Safely administer medications and infusions to patients, ensuring accurate dosing and monitoring of vital signs.
- Communication: Effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Education and Training: Provide education and training to patients and families on infusion therapy and related topics.
- Quality Improvement: Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance infusion services and patient outcomes.
- Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree
- Certifications: Florida Registered Nurse License, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in infusion therapy
- Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, knowledge of infusion therapy and related medications
