Position Overview

The Fleet Operations Technician is responsible for the following:

  • Maintenance and Service: Conduct regular servicing and upkeep of the vehicle fleet to ensure optimal performance.
  • Uptime Maximization: Implement swift response strategies and preventative measures to enhance the operational readiness of field vehicles.
  • On-Site Assistance: Provide on-site technical support as required, including travel arrangements for service needs.
  • System Upgrades: Install necessary hardware and software upgrades on fleet vehicles.
  • Diagnostic Proficiency: Acquire knowledge of ARAN subsystems to perform rapid diagnostics and troubleshooting, facilitating repairs both on-site and remotely.
  • Equipment Repair: Assist in the maintenance and repair of field operation equipment and manage spare parts.
  • Inventory Management: Help oversee the inventory of spare parts for Fleet Operations.
  • Preventative Maintenance Forecasting: Provide forecasts for preventative maintenance on vehicle chassis and associated equipment.
  • Operational Support: Offer assistance to field operations personnel through various communication channels as needed.
  • Training Provision: Educate Field Operators on the use of Roadware hardware and software solutions.
  • Quality Improvement Feedback: Relay insights and corrective measures to enhance product reliability and quality.
  • Documentation Maintenance: Ensure accurate documentation of fleet operations and maintenance logs.
  • Health and Safety Compliance: Participate in HSE training in accordance with the Health and Safety Training Matrix.
  • Regulatory Adherence: Ensure compliance with company standards, industry regulations, QHSSE policies, and local laws.
