Tenet Massachusetts is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse Educator to join their team at MetroWest Medical Center. As a key member of the nursing staff, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing educational programs for nursing personnel, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide high-quality patient care.

Job Description & Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in nursing or a related field, with at least five years of clinical nursing experience, including two years in the area of specialization. They will also have experience in the teaching and learning process, as well as certification in a clinical specialty. The successful candidate will be a registered nurse licensed to practice in the Commonwealth of MA, with BLS and ACLS certification.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement educational programs for nursing personnel
  • Collaborate with facility/market nursing leadership and staff to assess, plan, develop, implement, facilitate, evaluate, and revise educational programming
  • Act as a key resource in the orientation and continuing education of nursing staff
  • Implement a comprehensive education program for assigned units while following and contributing to Tenet educational goals and vision

Working Conditions:

  • Occasional pressure due to calls, classes, and projects
