Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Infant Teacher's Assistant to join our team at Bambini Montessori Academy. This individual will be responsible for planning and presenting engaging activities for children, promoting their social, emotional, and intellectual development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and implement age-appropriate activities for infants and toddlers
  • Develop and maintain a safe and nurturing environment for children
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive and effective educational program
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child's progress and needs
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance knowledge and skills
  • Meet the physical demands of the job, including standing, bending, and lifting
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • 45 hours of Child Growth and Development training
  • 45 hours in Preschool Curriculum training
  • 45 hours Infant-Toddler Certificate training
  • Minimum of one year of experience working with infants in a licensed childcare facility or 30 college credits
  • Demonstrated knowledge of various stages of social, emotional, and intellectual development
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development
  • Physical ability to meet the demands of the job
  • Associates or bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Development or related field (preferred)
