We are currently seeking an Accounting Associate to join our team. This role is vital in fostering customer relationships by overseeing account activities, addressing inquiries related to accounts and services, and executing various accounting tasks as required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor accounts receivable to confirm timely payments.
- Engage with customers to facilitate payment on overdue accounts.
- Evaluate overdue customer accounts and recommend actions to management for collections.
- Assist customers and staff by responding to inquiries regarding accounts and procedures.
- Establish new customer accounts, ensuring all necessary documentation is complete and accurate.
- Process vendor invoices within the Accounts Payable system.
- Maintain comprehensive customer and vendor records.
- Respond to inquiries via phone and email from customers and vendors.
- Reconcile accounts payable and receivable as needed.
- Perform additional accounting-related duties as required.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 years of accounting experience is required.
- At least 3 years of experience with Microsoft Excel is essential.
- Strong organizational abilities.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- A positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
- A collaborative spirit and the ability to interact professionally with all organizational members.
Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
