This role is pivotal in overseeing the orientation process for all nursing staff, representing CHRISTUS Health in various community engagements, and spearheading the planning, execution, and assessment of nursing continuing education initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:- Uphold adherence to Administrative and Departmental policies, demonstrating professionalism in behavior, attire, attendance, confidentiality, and reliability.
- Design and execute educational programs tailored to address identified learning requirements, applying principles of adult education.
- Establish and implement a suitable evaluation framework to assess the effectiveness of educational initiatives.
- Foster collaborative relationships among healthcare professionals to enhance teamwork and care delivery.
- Engage in committees, task forces, and meetings to contribute to staff development, ultimately improving patient care.
- Participate in activities that encourage professional growth through education and other initiatives that advance nursing practice and education.
Associate's Degree in Nursing
Current RN License in the state of employment or compact
