Job Overview:

As a Junior EPC Project Coordinator, you will be instrumental in facilitating project management functions for Electric Distribution initiatives. Your role will encompass overseeing smaller projects related to both High Voltage Distribution (HVD) and Low Voltage Distribution (LVD) systems, ensuring they are completed efficiently, within budgetary constraints, and aligned with quality standards.

Key Duties:

  • Assist in project planning, execution, quality assurance, progress reporting, and project closure for designated assignments.
  • Help develop and manage project execution strategies, including scheduling critical deliverable milestones.
  • Engage with stakeholders, both internal and external, effectively communicating project timelines and negotiating as necessary.
  • Identify, evaluate, and manage risks, challenges, and limitations impacting project delivery, creating contingency plans and mitigation strategies.
  • Contribute to financial projections and ongoing reconciliation of project resources and expenditures.
  • Comply with the Project Lifecycle Process (PLP) standards, preparing necessary plans, schedules, and other project management documentation.

Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with Project Management Institute PM knowledge areas, including but not limited to: Project Integration Management, Scope Management, Schedule Management, Cost Management, Quality Management, Resource Management, Communications Management, Risk Management, Procurement Management, and Stakeholder Management.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Basic understanding of electric distribution systems and substations.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse project stakeholders.
  • 0-2 years of relevant work experience required; 2-4 years preferred.
