About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Pedcor Management Corporation.

Job Summary:

The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for maintaining the physical needs of our properties, including service requests and preventative maintenance schedules.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine and emergency maintenance tasks in vacant and occupied apartments, common buildings, equipment, and pools.
  • Respond to service requests within 24 hours, with priority given to urgent situations.
  • Prioritize tasks based on urgency and potential damage.
  • Maintain the exterior appearance of the property, including curb appeal and pathways.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory levels, reporting any depletions to the supervisor.
  • Ensure storage and shop areas are organized and well-stocked.
  • Take charge of maintenance operations during the absence of the maintenance supervisor.
  • Participate in a rotating on-call schedule for emergency after-hour calls.

Requirements:

  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, as needed.
  • Demonstrate expertise in systems such as HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and code compliance.
  • Familiarity with OSHA, EPA, and life safety regulations.
  • Possess or obtain EPA Type 2 Certification.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic hand tools required.

Working Conditions:

  • Must be able to travel to the site in inclement weather.
  • Must respond promptly to major emergencies.
  • Valid Driver's License and Auto Insurance required.

Compensation:

We offer a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. We also provide opportunities for professional growth and development.
