About the Role:
This is a dynamic opportunity to join our team as a Pharmacy Technician at D&W Fresh Market. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting our licensed pharmacists in providing exceptional patient care and service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist Pharmacists: Provide assistance to licensed pharmacists in dispensing medication and other healthcare products to patients.
- Stock and Inventory Management: Maintain accurate stock levels of medications and other products, and notify the Pharmacy Manager when supplies need to be ordered.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to patients, responding to their queries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Cash Handling: Accurately operate the cash register, handle customer transactions, and maintain a high level of cash handling accuracy.
- Inventory Management: Maintain a clean, attractive, and well-stocked department, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
- Communication: Maintain effective communication with patients, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
Requirements:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: One year of prior customer service-oriented pharmacy-related experience, with state-appropriate registration or certification.
- Skills: Basic mathematical skills, ability to read, write, comprehend, and interpret documents, and familiarity with all products carried in the department.
