We are seeking a highly skilled Early Intervention Specialist to join our team in Beaufort County, South Carolina.
Job Summary:
This role involves providing family-centered early intervention services to families with infants and toddlers with developmental delays or disabilities. As an Early Intervention Specialist, you will work closely with caregivers and children in their natural environment to develop and implement strategies that promote the child's development.
Responsibilities:
- Provide family-centered early intervention services to families with infants and toddlers with developmental delays or disabilities.
- Perform family training with the caregiver and child in their home, daycare, or natural environment setting.
- Provide training, education, and support to families in the areas of child development, parenting, and family functioning.
- Develop and implement strategies to promote the development of the child.
- Monitor the progress of the child and family.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education, Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, Family & Consumer Science, or any related field, plus 1 year of documented experience working with children birth to six years old. Prior early intervention experience is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
- CPR, First Aid, and AED Certification (Heartsaver, Infant & Child)
Compensation:
The salary for this position is $40,000 per year, plus travel mileage reimbursement at $.45 per mile up to a $565 reimbursable monthly cap, resulting in a potential annual compensation of up to $46,780.

Location:
This role requires residing in Beaufort County, South Carolina, and surrounding areas.
Experience:
1 year of experience working with children birth to six years old is required. Prior early intervention experience is preferred.
License/Certification:
- Driver's License (Required) & Reliable Car
Willingness to Travel:
- 50-75% travel required.
