Virginia Linen Service, Inc. is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Specialist to join our team. As an Industrial Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for repairing, maintaining, and troubleshooting various equipment and components of our automated processing facility.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform preventative maintenance procedures on boilers, air compressors, welding and piping systems, electrical circuitry, and PLC's.
- Troubleshoot equipment problems by observing mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Use precision measuring and testing instruments to diagnose and repair equipment.
- Assist other maintenance personnel with emergency and non-emergency repairs.
- Perform daily and weekly safety checks on boilers and make necessary repairs.
- Minimum of 2 years of successful maintenance experience.
- Ability to read and understand maintenance literature printed in English.
- General knowledge and skills representing a good mechanical background.
- Ability to stand for up to 7 hours of an 8-hour shift.
