Job Summary

This is a challenging role that requires identifying, defining, analyzing, and generating complex specifications for test conduction, coordination of systems and analyses, proposal submittal, and performance of applied research and development in one or more of the following areas:

  • RF systems requirements generation
  • RF hardware development
  • RF design and development
  • RF systems integration and testing

You will work closely with our team of experienced engineers and scientists to deliver cutting-edge technology solutions to our clients.

Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing, documenting, and implementing solutions to complex technical problems associated with the analysis, design, development, operation, and/or modification of RF engineering products and services
  • Researching, analyzing, and conducting equipment design and development, system analyses, process studies, and research investigations for complex technical problems in one or more of the following areas:
    • Radio wave propagation
    • Digital signal processing
    • RF and/or digital hardware design and integration
    • Threat RF systems exploitation
    • Communications theory
    • Waveform development and modeling
    • Electronic Warfare systems
  • Establishing, developing, and maintaining effective working interfaces and coordination/exchange of technical information among multi-disciplined engineering groups, subcontractors, and/or the customer
  • Designing and developing RF distribution components, antennas, and feedlines in accordance with specifications and engineering standards for installation
  • Supporting firmware and hardware development languages for embedded system design for microcontrollers, Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGA-s), System on a Chip (SoC), Platform on a Module (PoM), and single board computers (VME, VPX, PXI, etc.)
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering
  • Six+ years of experience working as an Electrical/Electronics Engineer in development, design, and prototyping requirements OR six+ years of experience working as a Computer Engineer in development, design, and prototyping requirements
  • Experience in one or more of the following:
    • Threat System Analysis
    • Model development to match intelligence assessments, including waveform scheduling, correlation/tracking and signal processing
    • RF signals processing
    • RF algorithms/logic
    • System performance assessments of major subsystems including but not limited to phased array antennas, transmitters and receivers, RF signal processors and computer algorithms/logic
  • Demonstrated experience programming and configuring one or more of the following:
    • Microcontrollers
    • Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGAs)
    • System on a Chip (SoC)
    • Platform on a Module (PoM)
    • Single board computers such as VME, VPX, and PXI
  • Experience designing and developing one or more of the following:
    • RF Cable Assemblies
    • Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs) and Circuit Card Assemblies (CCAs)
  • Possess a current Department of Defense (DoD) Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) security clearance
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary range for this position is $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience. We also offer an extensive benefits package and a work environment that encourages excellence. For positions requiring a security clearance, selected applicants will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
