Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Cardiac Cath Lab team at Dr. P. Phillips Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our cardiac catheterization program.

Responsibilities
  • Provide critical care to patients requiring complex assessment and therapies, high-intensity interventions, and high-level continuous nursing vigilance.
  • Utilize information and assessment data to anticipate and respond to rapidly changing patient conditions.
  • Identify and prioritize information to take immediate and decisive evidence-based, patient-focused action.
  • Monitor and adjust specialized equipment used on patients, and interpret and record electronic displays.
  • Respond to life-saving situations based on nursing standards and protocol.
  • Serve as a preceptor, charge nurse, unit educator, and/or nurse clinician.
  • Serve as a role model for staff and support the hospital and nursing department's goals and strategies.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
  • Maintains current licensure as a registered nurse in the State of Florida or Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC).
  • Maintains current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification.
  • Prior Cath Lab experience is preferred. If no cath lab experience, recent ICU and/or ER experience within the last 2 years is acceptable.
