The Arc Wayne is actively seeking a dedicated full-time Residential Program Supervisor to oversee our Residential Program. This role is essential in ensuring service delivery in a manner that fosters community integration and promotes the highest level of independence for individuals in daily living activities. You will be responsible for guiding team members to effectively support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities who have diverse and complex needs. Your leadership will be crucial in managing the overall operations of the assigned residence.

Compensation starts at $27.78 per hour, accompanied by comprehensive benefits such as medical, dental, vision, life insurance, a 403(b) retirement plan with company matching, paid holidays, sick leave, and generous vacation time.

Key Responsibilities of a Residential Program Supervisor:

  • Developing, implementing, and monitoring Staff Action Plans, Protective Oversight Plans, and Behavior Support Plans.
  • Ensuring adequate staffing levels to meet program and individual needs.
  • Managing house staffing schedules and creating staff assignment documentation.
  • Maintaining supervisory records, documenting service delivery, and completing necessary agency and program forms.

As a Residential Program Supervisor, you will support a team of Direct Support Professionals and a Residence Team Leader. This includes ensuring sufficient staffing to meet the needs of those we support, which involves interviewing, hiring, training, and developing team members. You may also need to provide direct care as required during staffing shortages or increased demands from individuals receiving services.

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 4 PM, with flexibility to accommodate program needs.

Qualifications:

  • Associate degree in Human Services or a related field with one year of supervisory experience working with individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities, OR
  • High School Diploma/GED with three years of supervisory experience in the same field.
  • A combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • Valid New York State Driver's License that meets agency standards.

Physical requirements include the ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and to alternate between sitting, standing, bending, kneeling, pushing, pulling, twisting, and crawling frequently.
