Geosyntec Consultants is seeking a highly skilled GIS Analyst to join our team. As a GIS Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting and managing projects that involve environmental assessments, groundwater and soil remediation, water resources, geotechnical construction, and more.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in GIS, including proficiency in the Esri ArcGIS software stack, cartographic techniques, and best practices. Experience with tablet-based field data collection, web-based mapping applications, and scripting languages such as Python and Arcade is also highly desirable.
As a GIS Analyst at Geosyntec Consultants, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from environmental remediation to geotechnical construction. You will be responsible for utilizing GIS to produce, display, and analyze spatial data, creating and organizing GIS maps and data for reporting, analysis, and presentation purposes.

- Utilize GIS to produce, display, and analyze spatial data
- Create and organize GIS maps and data for reporting, analysis, and presentation purposes
- Maintain GIS standards and follow and enhance standard GIS workflows for mapping tasks
- Support field work using GIS software to publish web services and create web maps for reference and data capture in the field
- Research project data needs and acquire accurate data from internal and external sources
- Lead the execution of GIS project work for small to mid-sized projects, maintaining existing standards and workflows, delegating tasks, and training staff as necessary
- Interact with internal and external clients to support data visualization for environmental remediation, facility mapping, and raster analysis projects
