Job Summary:

HHS is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeping and Floor Technician to join our team. As a key member of our Environmental Services department, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our residents and staff.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily cleaning procedures in assigned areas, including dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces
  • Operate floor care equipment, such as buffers and extractors, to maintain a clean and polished floor
  • Restock supplies and maintain a clean and organized workspace
  • Respond to housekeeping pages and complete tasks as assigned by the Environmental Services Director
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by the department Director

Requirements:

  • Ability to lift 40 lbs. frequently and push/pull a maid cart or linen cart continuously
  • Capable of standing, walking, squatting, bending, twisting, kneeling, and reaching continuously throughout a shift
  • Must be able to handle/interact with all chemicals used in the cleaning process
  • Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and other hours as needed
  • Must have communication skills in English
