Diagnostic Ultrasound Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Ultrasound Specialist to join our team at Kaiser Permanente in Clackamas, Oregon. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality diagnostic ultrasound services to patients in a hospital and/or clinical setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures, including OB/GYN, abdominal, and vascular superficial structures
  • Communicate effectively with radiologists and other healthcare professionals
  • Assist patients with transportation and exam preparation
  • Review and file exam results, restock supplies, and maintain a clean and organized workspace
  • Participate in quality assurance activities and other duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • Graduate of a CAAHEP-accredited ultrasonography program or 2 years of previous ultrasound experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) certification in Ob-Gyn or Abdomen required
  • Sonography Technologist License (Oregon) required
  • Basic Life Support certification within 1 month of hire
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Minimum 1 year of experience performing ultrasound exams, preferably within the last 3 years
  • Vascular ultrasonography experience preferred
  • Organizational skills, time management, prioritization, planning, attention to detail, problem-solving, decision-making, and technical skills
