Job Title: Diagnostic Imaging Specialist

Job Summary:
HexaQuEST Health, Inc. is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team. As an Ultrasound Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound exams, maintaining equipment, and ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform diagnostic ultrasound exams, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecologic, venous, and carotid Doppler exams.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
  • Prepare patients for exams, explaining procedures and ensuring patient comfort and safety.
  • Transport patients and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Perform and archive proper paperwork for exams, adhering to HIPAA regulations.

Requirements:
  • Graduation from a fully accredited Sonography program.
  • One American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) registry in either Abdomen or OB/GYN.
  • Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (HCP) level certification within three months of hire.

Competencies:
  • Demonstrates competency on equipment listed on department-specific checklists.
  • Exercises safe judgment in decision-making and practices within legal and ethical guidelines.

Physical Requirements:
Occasional standing, walking, lifting, reaching, kneeling, bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling. Must be able to maneuver patients on the table to obtain proper images. Able to lift at least 50 lbs. Good reading eyesight. Ability to communicate using verbal and/or written skills for accurate exchange of information with physicians, nurses, healthcare professionals, patients, and/or family, and the public.

Work Schedule:
Weekends (Sat, Sun) 8am - 8:30pm, Monday & Tuesday 3:30pm - 10:00pm. Must be currently active in the state license. Minimum 1 year of experience. Minimum 36 guaranteed hours.
