About the Role

Dignity Health is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Specialist to join our team at Northridge Hospital Medical Center. As a key member of our Environmental Services team, you will play a critical role in maintaining a clean and sanitary environment for our patients, staff, and visitors.

Responsibilities

  • Clean and sanitize patient rooms, common areas, and other areas of the facility
  • Follow established cleaning and disinfection protocols and procedures
  • Collect and dispose of waste, biohazardous waste, and linens
  • Stock and maintain supplies in patient rooms and common areas
  • Respond to requests for cleaning services from healthcare staff
  • Operate heavy-duty equipment and use special cleaning equipment

Requirements

  • High school diploma and/or GED education
  • Minimum 6 months janitorial experience in Healthcare or Nursing Home
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Must maintain current Fire Safety card
