Role Summary:
The Product Manager will assess industrial applications, deliver product solutions, and cultivate robust relationships with our Vendor Partners. This position is pivotal in ensuring that our offerings meet the evolving needs of the market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical and sales assistance within the industrial engineering sector.
- Engage in sales meetings and arrange appointments with prospective clients.
- Facilitate technical training sessions at two product training meetings annually.
- Identify root causes of machine failures and devise corrective actions with suitable product applications.
- Meet agreed-upon annual sales targets for all products relevant to the industrial sector.
- Deliver training to sales personnel regarding applications and product knowledge.
- Promote a collaborative team atmosphere by supporting colleagues.
- Maintain a tidy and safe workspace while optimizing space usage.
- Execute additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
The following qualifications are essential for this role:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-5 years in the Industrial Engineering field.
Skills & Competencies:
- Expertise in selecting safety scanners, detection sensors, distance sensors, machine vision, and motion control sensors for various industrial automation applications.
- Self-driven with excellent customer relations and sales capabilities.
- Proficient in problem-solving within industrial applications.
- Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems pertinent to the industrial sector.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with engineers and technical designers to provide suitable customer solutions.
- Mechanically inclined with exceptional organizational, communication, and time management skills.
Physical Requirements:
This role is primarily sedentary, allowing for comfortable sitting while performing tasks. However, some mobility may be required for transporting items such as laptops and other equipment.
Work Environment:
Employees will typically work in a general office setting. Occasional overnight travel may be necessary, and work outside standard business hours may be required from time to time.
